Help Send the University of Washington Women's Water Polo Club to Nationals
The University of Washington Women's Water Polo Club has once again won the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Northwest Division for the second consecutive year and therefore we'll be making our second consecutive appearance at the Collegiate Club National Championships May 5-7th. We went a perfect 10-0 and secured the #7 seed for the national tournament, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA, where we will compete against the other 15 best teams in the country. But we need your help to get there.
Here are three ways you can help:
You can make an immediate impact by making a tax-deductible donation directly to the program through UW Club Sports. Any amount you do will go a long way in helping our program. The link above will take you directly to the contribution page for women's water polo.
Join us May 2nd from 4-9pm at Samurai Noodle as they will be donating 15% of all sales that evening. We need at least 20 RSVPs which you can do here.
We are currently designing a team shirt for the National Championships. You can pre-order now with them shipping May 9th.
This year, getting to Pittsburgh will cost the us roughly $14,000 including flights, accommodations and rentals. We are currently $8,000 short of our goal. This year should be our best year yet as we are setting our eyes on a top 4 finish. Any contribution will go a long way in ensuring that every player can go, regardless of their financial situation. Thank you for your continued support and Go Dawgs!
