"We love nothing better than to see our new players immediately take to what we are trying to teach here," head coach Rudy Ramirez said when describing what made Karli Stevenson so special this past tournament. "Karli is competitive, hard-working, and plays her best, when her best is needed. During the Oregon match, she [Stevenson] came firing right out of the gates and helped almost immediately put the game out of reach with 4 of the 7 goals in the first quarter. She's a very special player."
Next up are the Northwest Division championships in Puyallup, Washington, April 8-9th where the Huskies will be hosting for the first time. The Huskies have secured the #1 seed in the division with an 8-0 record.
